Suzu Monogatari is a card-based role-playing game developed and released exclusively in Japan by Capcom in 2000 for the PlayStation. In the game, players assume the role of Suzumaru, a young boy who, after losing the five sacred bells of the gods, is sent to the human world to retrieve them. To accomplish this, he must travel around the village, interact with various characters, and engage in card battles. Players can acquire new cards and items through fishing, digging, or winning battles. Along the way, Suzumaru can also be joined by dogs and cats to assist in the search for these items.
In the divine kingdom, a mischievous child named Suzumaru was known for stirring up trouble. One day, Suzumaru came across seven bells marked with a warning not to touch or play with them. Curious and carefree, Suzumaru handled the bells and, by accident, let five of them fall into the human world. When the gods learned of this, they were furious and commanded Suzumaru to recover the lost bells.
