Summary
Three decades before the events of 1959, renowned artist Ichirō Mamiya concealed a collection of priceless frescos within his vast estate before vanishing under mysterious circumstances. In the modern day, a group of five documentary filmmakers set out to locate the missing artworks hidden inside the decaying, long-abandoned mansion. As soon as they enter, they are locked in by the vengeful spirit of an unidentified woman, who warns that she will kill anyone who dares to intrude. Determined to escape, the team splits up in search of an exit, but the mansion is not only on the verge of collapse but also teeming with an endless number of terrifying creatures.
