Tales of the Abyss introduces a groundbreaking free roaming battle system, letting players move freely across the battlefield—a first for the Tales series that adds new layers of strategy to the fast-paced, high-octane combat the franchise is famous for.

Storyline

Tales of the Abyss follows the journey of Luke fon Fabre, a young aristocrat who was kidnapped seven years prior and returns to his family with no recollection of his past. Thrown back into the world, Luke becomes entangled in the conflicts between the Order of Lorelei and the Oracle Knights, who guard the prophecy known as the Score. As he discovers the strength of friendship and the weight of sacrifice, Luke's choices may determine the fate of the world—either saving it or bringing about its ruin.
