Techno Cop

Summary

In this single-player side-scrolling game, the player takes on the role of a police officer in a gritty, futuristic city. Wielding a pistol, the player must eliminate a variety of criminals before time runs out. Although the game features multiple levels, the background remains largely unchanged throughout. The second part of the game consists of driving sequences, similar to other titles like Roadblasters. Techno Cop was one of the first third-party games developed for the Mega Drive/Genesis and was part of Razorsoft's effort to explore the types of content Sega would permit on games for its platform.
