Summary
Terminator for the Atari 8-Bit is a platform-based shooting game. The protagonist will travel through five distinct historical eras: the Stone Age, Ancient Egypt, Medieval Malbork, 19th-century Oklahoma City, and Los Angeles in 1993. The player's objective is to collect a set number of chips, defeat the cyborg guardian, and reach the level's teleporter to advance. Terminator can use weapons and bombs to battle the many enemies he encounters, though the guardian cyborg is resistant to hand-to-hand attacks. In rare situations, such as being stuck with no way back, Terminator can instantly return to the starting point, but this power can only be used five times.
