Storyline
The game is set in a world known as Ticondera. Five millennia prior to the story's start, a celestial figure named Saro vanquished a malevolent force named Gorsia using the strength of seven sacred runes. Since that time, the runes have been dispersed throughout the world. Lemele (Remeer in the Japanese version), Saro's son, was born a century before the game begins and became a legendary hero after slaying the demon Gariso. Now 100 years old, Lemele has grown into a kind and formidable ruler of the land. Seven individuals from diverse backgrounds and regions are chosen by the aged King Lemele. After five years of rigorous training at his royal palace, Lemele sends his seven protégés on a mission to recover the seven runes. Each rune holds immense power that can be harnessed by its bearer. The one who gathers all seven runes will be named Lemele's successor. To aid in their journey, the king bestows each of them with a Crystal Ball to guide their search.
