Storyline

Welcome to The Ascent Group arcology, a towering, self-sustaining metropolis governed by corporate rule, soaring into the heavens and teeming with beings from across the galaxy. You are a worker, bound in servitude to the company that owns you and every other soul in your sector. One day, while on a standard mission utilizing your cyberdeck expertise, you’re thrust into a maelstrom of chaos. The Ascent Group, the planet’s most powerful megacorp, abruptly ceases operations for reasons unknown, triggering a breakdown in the automated security systems. The safety of your district is now at risk: competing corporations seek to annex it by force, while criminal organizations eye an opportunity to expand their black-market augmentation empire. You must rise up, take up arms, and stop them from taking control. Your journey will lead you to uncover the truth behind the catastrophe. You were made for the corporation. Can you endure without it?
