Storyline
Beginning with nothing but a stick and a pouch of stones, you'll take on enemies in a dynamic platform-action adventure that follows Bilbo's transformation from a timid hobbit of the Shire to a courageous hero. Just like the classic tale, the story starts when nine dwarves enlist the home-loving hobbit as their burglar to reclaim their stolen treasure from beneath the blazing jaws of Smaug the dragon. Journeying toward the Lonely Mountain, the company encounters numerous dangers along the way, battling Middle-earth's most menacing creatures—including enormous spiders, deadly goblins, and ravenous trolls.
