When computer games were being unfairly targeted for violence, swearing, seizures, and any other issue the 'moral majority' could pin on them, Virgin released: The Road Safety Game. Or rather, they didn't—this was just a typical platformer with a side of dubious style and questionable intent.
You take on the role of a crash test dummy, attempting to advance through levels packed with dangers like cars and fireballs, all while racing against the clock. Hitting any of these hazards will cost you a limb, and once you're out of limbs, any further contact ends the game. Since losing limbs doesn't actually hinder your character in any way, you can effectively treat them as hit points. Along the way, you can collect screwdrivers that restore a lost limb.
