Summary
The Legend of Oasis serves as a prequel to Beyond Oasis, also referred to as The Story of Thor. Much like its follow-up, it is an action game that incorporates role-playing aspects. The gameplay closely mirrors that of Beyond Oasis. Leon has the ability to strike with melee weapons or use a bow for distant attacks. His armlet also enables him to call upon spirits, which can harm enemies or restore his health. Rather than a traditional experience points system, the game uses "ranks" (similar to levels); attaining higher ranks boosts the hero's hit points and is achieved by restoring his health repeatedly.
Storyline
Long ago, Reharl, the King of Spirits, battled the destroyer Agito. Both wielded mighty armlets—the Golden and the Silver. Centuries later, a warrior named Ordan discovered the Golden Armlet. Seeing untapped potential in his apprentice Leon, Ordan passed the armlet to him. Leon must rise as the new King of Spirits and confront Agito, who is said to possess the Silver Armlet. To harness the power of the six Spirits, Leon must journey into the dungeons of the Spirits.
