Summary
The Lost World: Jurassic Park is a light gun arcade game developed by Sega. It launched in 1997 and is based on the movie of the same name. It also serves as a follow-up to Sega’s 1994 Jurassic Park arcade title. The game includes five stages set in locations from the film, such as a lab and a worker settlement. Four of these stages require defeating a boss to progress. Key boss dinosaurs include the Tyrannosaurus, Deinosuchus, and Carnotaurus. Velociraptors appear as enemies throughout the game, while other creatures like Pachycephalosaurus, Compsognathus, and the venom-spitting Dilophosaurus also make appearances. Occasionally, the player is given a chance to rescue a person under attack by one or more dinosaurs. Successfully saving a human grants the player a temporary weapon enhancement or extra health as a reward.
