Become the monster in Epyx's sequel to Crush, Crumble and Chomp! Wreck London, Paris, New York, Moscow, or San Francisco by choosing from six colossal creatures, including the officially licensed Godzilla, Tarantula, or a powerful Robot. Choose from five unique storylines such as escape, rescue, or destroy a famous landmark. Try to avoid pesky little humans who will attempt to stop you with tanks, jets, and missiles. While the game retains the core themes of its predecessor, it no longer uses the same turn-based strategy system for monster movement. Now, you can control your monster freely in an arcade-style format, without having to input separate commands for each movement. Single player only.
The action unfolds on a movie screen in front of a theater audience, creating the feel of a real monster movie. Each level begins with a series of ads, including promotions for popcorn and "Gummi Glogs," while the Apple II edition also includes a spot for "Godzilla Mouthwash," along with other attractions like advertisements for Epyx's own Summer Games, before the main game presentation starts.
