Summary
The gameplay features several notable changes from the original Tetris. First, in addition to clearing lines, players can now create 4x4 large squares using four pieces to form blocks. When a block is completed, it becomes solid gold or silver, depending on the block's composition. Blocks can only be made from complete pieces—any piece that has had part of it cleared cannot be used to form a block. Clearing a line that contains pieces from a block results in higher point rewards.
