Summary
Although the title is The Simpsons Arcade, this game is not a direct port of the classic arcade game with the same name. Rather, it serves as a tribute, keeping the beat-em-up style but introducing characters from later seasons of The Simpsons, including Chief Wiggum, Bumblebee Man, and Mayor Quimby. In the game, players use punches and kicks to defeat enemies and can collect power-ups in the form of other members of the Simpsons family, who briefly appear on screen to help in the fight against opponents.
