Storyline

In *The Sims: Open for Business*, Sims can launch their own shops and restaurants, steering their ventures toward impressive success—or unfortunate collapse—through smart management and top-notch customer service. As the boss, players' Sims take charge of hiring and firing, navigating a workforce where some employees are hardworking and committed, while others just clock in for the money. Building and maintaining a high-performing team becomes a satisfying and strategic endeavor. Much like previous *Sims* expansion packs, *Open for Business* introduces more than 100 new items to the game, many of which can be used both at home and in the workplace. Players gain access to cash registers, service counters, awnings, elevators, and a variety of costumes and uniforms. New construction areas also allow builders to design the perfect retail space for their Sims' dream businesses.
