Summary

The Sims: House Party is the second expansion for The Sims, centered entirely around the joy of hosting and attending parties. Every feature included is crafted to enhance the fun for both players and their Sims. The expansion introduces more than 100 new items and characters, five fresh music genres, five corresponding dance styles, and three exciting party themes: Cowboy, Luau, and Rave.

Storyline

With more than 100 brand-new party decorations and must-haves, House Party brings the celebration to life! Ride the Mechanical Bull, get dressed for the event with the costume trunk, show off your moves in the Dance Cage, create fun-filled bubbles with the Bubble Maker, and gather 'round the Campfire for outdoor events! New characters join the festivities, including resident DJs, the Psycho Mime, Campfire Ghost, Entertainer, Caterer, and special guests. Choose from a variety of music genres like Rap, Techno, Country, Beach, and Disco. Your Sims can throw three unique party styles: Rave, Cowboy, and Luau.
