Summary

Based on James Cameron's iconic 1984 film, the SNES game is an action title that puts players in the shoes of Kyle Reese, a soldier from the future tasked with safeguarding Sarah Connor from the Terminator. The game features two distinct level types: in a series of side-scrolling platform stages, Reese runs, leaps, and fires at enemies such as Terminators (in the opening future battle level), street thugs, or police officers. Two driving segments bring the movie's famous chase scenes to life. From a rear-view perspective, Reese and Sarah must flee from the Terminator's relentless pursuit in their vehicle, weaving through traffic and evading enemy fire.

Storyline

Set in a dystopian future, the game follows Kyle Reese as he fights his way through a ruined world to travel back in time to 1984 Los Angeles. Upon arrival, he must complete key moments from the original film’s storyline: locating Sarah Connor, surviving the police station gunfight, and facing the final showdown in the factory.
