Summary
Following the destruction of the Orbital Satellite Platform in late 2029, a directive is issued to eliminate all remaining Skynet forces. Yet an inexplicable phenomenon is taking place: certain Skynet units are reactivating, and a new, enigmatic weapon system, codenamed "The Guardian," has emerged with catastrophic power. Your mission: locate and destroy the new core of Skynet's intelligence and hunt down and eliminate the Guardians! Gameplay, visuals, and technical specifications remain identical to Terminator 2029 — this expansion adds 12 brand-new missions for you to complete.
Storyline
The Battle Continues. A new and urgent chapter in the fight to destroy Skynet! Following the collapse of the Orbital Satellite Platform in late 2029, Col. Conner launched a full-scale operation to eliminate Terminators, Hunter-Killers, Eradicators, and all remaining Skynet forces. Yet, an inexplicable phenomenon has emerged—certain enemy units are reactivating, and a new, advanced, and enigmatic weapon system, designated the Guardian, has begun wreaking havoc with alarming efficiency. C3 frontline Recon Squad 12 in Virginia recorded the highest phase plasma readings ever seen before contact was abruptly cut off. You have been deployed to Roosevelt Island Base, Gamma One, in Washington D.C. Your primary objective: locate and neutralize the new Skynet intelligence hub threatening to plunge the Resistance into another devastating conflict. Secondary objective: track down and eliminate the Guardians.
