All current owners of The Witcher 2 were given free access to the Enhanced Edition, with the option to pre-load the update beginning April 11, 2012. New physical copies for PC and Xbox 360 included the extra content by default. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings - Enhanced Edition introduced more than 10GB of additional material, such as four hours of new gameplay, an arena mode, an updated tutorial, 36 minutes of cinematics featuring a new opening and closing sequence by Platige Image, along with numerous improvements to gameplay and the user interface.
