Summary

Set in the near future, *Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2* places players in the role of a highly skilled operative serving in the elite U.S. Special Forces unit known as the "Ghosts." The game takes place in North Korea, where a ruthless general is siphoning humanitarian aid to strengthen his military and expand his political influence. It falls to the Ghosts to stop this dangerous threat. The game features a single-player campaign in which players, as part of the Ghosts, must confront the villainous general across 11 lengthy and varied missions. Multiplayer options are available both online and offline, with the main campaign supporting co-op play alongside several competitive modes, ranging from straightforward deathmatches to team-based objectives. A new addition to this installment is the ability to switch to a third-person perspective, while the traditional first-person "From the Eyes" viewpoint remains an option.
