Remastered edition of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
Storyline
In June 2007, relations are strained between China, North Korea, South Korea, and Japan, following Japan's creation of the Information Self Defense Force (I-SDF). Viewing this as a breach of Article 9 of the post-World War II Constitution and accusing the I-SDF of conducting cyber warfare against their nations, Chinese and North Korean military forces impose a blockade in the Yellow Sea targeting Japanese vessels. Because Japan is allied with the United States and, by extension, the NSA's Third Echelon, the U.S. Navy sends the state-of-the-art warship USS Clarence E. Walsh (CG-80) to the Yellow Sea, in the hope that the presence of such a powerful vessel will compel China and North Korea to withdraw.
