Summary
Toonstruck is an adventure game launched in 1996 where, despite all the visuals being hand-drawn and digitized into the game, the main character Drew Blanc (performed and voiced by Christopher Lloyd) is a real-life video-captured portrayal of the actor (a pun, as the character has "drawn a blank" trying to think of a new character idea). Drew's companion, the awkwardly named Flux Wildly, is a hand-drawn figure voiced by Dan Castellaneta. Toonstruck also includes scan-line compressed full-motion video and was among the first video games to use stock music from APM Music, including the well-known "Spooky Scherzo" by Sam Fonteyn and "Lonely Hearts Club A" by David Bell.
