Turok

Summary

Turok is a first-person shooter created by Propaganda Games and released by Touchstone Games and Disney Interactive Studios. It was initially launched for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in February 2008, with a version for Microsoft Windows following in April 2008. A follow-up was in development for the Xbox 360 but was scrapped before it could be officially revealed. The game is inspired by the comic book series of the same name and is not connected to the narrative or world of earlier Turok video games. In the game, players take on the role of Joseph Turok, a Native American space marine who joins a mission to a distant planet to capture his former commander, General Roland Kane, now a fugitive war criminal. After a crash landing, Turok finds himself on a world teeming with dinosaurs, battling both the dangerous creatures and Kane’s private forces in his quest to bring down his former leader.
