TwinBee 3: Poko Poko Daimaō is a vertical-scrolling shooter developed by Konami and released for the Famicom. It serves as the third and final entry in the TwinBee series on the system, moving away from Stinger's horizontal layout to align more closely with the original game's style. This title is notably more accessible than its predecessors thanks to an optional mode that lets players customize difficulty and ship count, along with the introduction of the new "soul reviving system," which enables players to regain power-ups after losing a ship. The game features digitized PCM sound effects, especially during a stage where the conga rhythm chants "Poko Poko," and at the start of each level, where a voice announces the stage name. It was made available again on April 14, 2006, as part of the i-Revo downloadable game service.
Dr. Cinnamon was enjoying a quiet life on Donburi Island with his three great-grandchildren. One day, he asked the youngest to run an errand by flying the GwinBee aircraft. But the child never returned... Concerned, the doctor was about to investigate when a booming voice echoed through his lab: "GwinBee is now under my control. I am the Demon King Poko Poko." Without hesitation, Dr. Cinnamon instructed his other two great-grandchildren to take the TwinBee and WinBee combat ships and go after their sibling. With determination, the two brave pilots set out on a mission to rescue GwinBee.
