
An anime-inspired Mahjong game developed by Varie for the Super Famicom. It showcases artwork by renowned manga artist U-Jin. Yuujin: Janjyu Gakuen ("U-Jin: Sparrow Veterinary School", approximately) is a Mahjong title published by Varie. Players can choose to play as one of three heroines or design their own character as they compete against opponents across the school named in the title. The game features a collaboration with manga artist U-Jin (real name: Ube Yamaguchi), who contributed to the creation of the anime-style characters and appears in the game's title. Like many Mahjong games, Yuujin: Janjyu Gakuen was never released outside Japan. It was later followed by a sequel: Yuujin: Jankyu Gakuen 2.
