Summary

What happens when you blend Sonic the Hedgehog with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater? Strange as it may sound, that’s exactly what Uniracers is. A standout title from the final days of the Super Nintendo, Uniracers fuses fast-paced platform racing with wild stunts and acrobatics. The core concept in most levels is straightforward: race from point A to point B as fast as you can and beat your rival. It sounds like a simple formula—similar to Sonic, but without the annoying enemies, unnecessary power-ups, or aggravating obstacles. In fact, it might not even seem like a full game... But here's the catch. Performing and landing tricks mid-race boosts your speed. The more impressive the trick, the more speed you gain. Some levels are even built around stunts, where the goal is to rack up as many style points as possible by pulling off tricks. These levels are timed and judged by a points system, not by beating an opponent. Unicycles are silly, tricky, and oddly satisfying once you get the hang of them. The same goes for Uniracers.
