Summary

Hakuoro awakens in a remote mountain village with severe injuries, no memory of his past, and a mysterious mask fused to his face that he can't take off. Rescued from the brink of death in the woods by Eruruw, a young girl who tends to his wounds, he gradually grows attached to the quiet village and begins to see it as home. But when a tyrannical leader threatens the peace Hakuoro and his new friends have built, they are thrust into a battle for survival, caught in a conflict that will test their strength and reveal a fate far beyond their expectations.
