Summary

In a magical version of Venice, The Corpus falls victim to a sly necromancer. Turned into a horrifying undead creature, the deceitful pretender seeks to obliterate the restored Death and the Corpus council. Only Scarlett, Death's daughter, can oppose him. Initially unaware of her fate, Scarlett must discover her unique abilities and rise as a powerful warrior, capable of facing the most dangerous menace to the world of the living. She must harness her amazing supernatural talents and strengths to rescue her father and condemn the necromancer and his terrifying minions to an eternal afterlife.

Storyline
