Summary
Separation Anxiety is a side-scrolling beat 'em up game that features characters and storylines from the Spider-Man comics. The plot is loosely inspired by a comic mini-series centered around Venom. In the game, players can choose to take control of either Spider-Man or his unpredictable adversary, Venom. As Spider-Man, your mission is to stop the Life Foundation, who have stolen five symbiotes from Venom and intend to bond them with their soldiers to create a powerful and dangerous army. Meanwhile, Venom, recovering from his injuries, also recognizes the need to eliminate the threat. The game allows you to punch, kick, swing, and perform combos across various environments like city streets, forests, and underground facilities as you work toward your objective. As you progress, you can collect superhero icons that summon aid from some of Spider-Man's most iconic allies, including Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Hawkeye, and Captain America.
