All the highly coveted invitations for the Fifth World Fighting Tournament have been distributed, and now the 17 top fighters from around the globe enter the final stages of their training. They must learn from their past errors and refine every element of their mind, body, and spirit—because in this competition, there is no margin for error. Unbeknownst to them, J6, the corporation backing the tournament, harbors dark hidden intentions behind the event, and its classified Dural project is already in full motion. In its pursuit of global dominance, J6's researchers are developing the ultimate combat machine with human characteristics. Their first prototype was defeated in the Fourth World Fighting Tournament, prompting them to abduct Vanessa. Though she managed to flee with the aid of a mole within the organization, they had already obtained her battle data and used it to create the next advanced Dural model known as V-Dural. J6 is determined to uncover the identity of the insider who aided Vanessa’s escape and, more crucially, to determine if V-Dural is truly ready to overcome the world’s greatest fighters. The Fifth World Fighting Tournament will bring these secrets to light—let the battle commence.
