Summary

Vs. Super Mario Bros. is a two-player competitive mode version of Super Mario Bros. The game offers a more challenging experience compared to the original, featuring fewer warp zones and power-ups, along with an increased number of enemies. It includes six brand-new levels that were later incorporated into Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels.

Storyline

The story follows the same path as the original Super Mario Bros., with Mario and Luigi (available only for the second player) embarking on a journey to rescue Princess Toadstool from the clutches of the villainous Bowser and reclaim the Mushroom Kingdom from its fallen state.
