Step into the colossal shoes of a 100-foot-tall beast as you battle through vibrant cities, tear through crowded streets, deliver devastating body slams, and fend off military forces. War of the Monsters lets you relive the epic moments of your favorite monster films, featuring ten unique creatures in full-scale destruction. Explore ten dynamic environments filled with interactive weapons like steel beams, radio towers, speeding cars, debris, tanks, and more. Wreck enemies with powerful punches, close-range combat, and explosive special moves. Use massive chunks of wreckage as cover, crush buildings on top of your enemies, or lift and hurl tankers like playthings. Trigger environmental chaos such as tsunamis and quakes to gain the upper hand and achieve total supremacy.

Storyline

The story takes place in the 1950s when a massive armada of alien flying saucers attacks Earth, causing widespread destruction. Scientists from around the world develop a set of covert weapons that, when deployed, emit powerful shock waves capable of disabling the saucers and forcing them to crash. However, each flying saucer is powered by a green radioactive substance that spills out when the ships are destroyed. This toxic fuel mutates animals, people, and machines alike, sparking a brutal conflict among the transformed creatures. As a player, you take on the role of one of these mutated beings, waging war against other monsters and surviving UFOs in stylized cities around the world.
