Warhammer: Dark Crusaders was a canceled first-person shooter developed for PC by Mindscape in 1995 and 1996. It was intended to be one of the rare first-person games set in the Warhammer universe, but the gameplay failed to deliver much enjoyment, leading Mindscape to abandon the project despite it being nearly finished. However, the game eventually surfaced online and remains mostly playable. It appears that the full-motion video sequences from Warhammer: Dark Crusaders were later reused in Warhammer: Final Liberation, a turn-based strategy game released for Windows in 1997.
