A golf simulation developed by Data East for the PC Engine. It was later re-released on the Wii Shop in Japan. Winning Shot is a golf game for the PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 and was the first title in the sport to be released on the platform. It supports up to four players, and since golf is a turn-based sport, each player takes their turn based on their proximity to the hole. The game includes many features common in golf titles of the time—players can choose which club to use, decide whether to hit the ball at an angle to alter its flight path, select the direction of the shot, and then time their swing on a power meter to send the ball as close to the hole as possible.
