Summary

WipEout 64, developed by Psygnosis, serves as a sequel to the racing title WipEout XL and is set a year later in 2098. As in earlier entries, players pilot high-speed hovercrafts, collect weapons to attack rival vehicles, and aim to cross the finish line first. In many ways, the gameplay mirrors its predecessor, including hovercraft selection, graphics, and the handling mechanics. New additions include fresh racing circuits, a Split-Screen Multiplayer Mode supporting up to four players, Weapon & Super Combo Challenges, and a range of Special Weapons unique to each Team!
