Summary
Wonder Boy is a 1986 platform video game released by Sega and created by Escape, later known as Westone Bit Entertainment. It marked the beginning of the popular Wonder Boy game series and was succeeded by five follow-ups: Wonder Boy in Monster Land, Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair, Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap, Wonder Boy in Monster World, and Monster World IV. The game also served as the foundation for the Adventure Island series.
