Summary
Woody Woodpecker: Escape from Buzz Buzzard Park is a third-person adventure game where players guide their character through a computer-generated 3D environment with real-time action, featuring a camera positioned behind or around the character. The game contains twenty-one platform-style levels. Advancement depends largely on the player's skill and agility in navigating challenges such as crossing gaps and climbing surfaces, or unlocking the next level by interacting with objects—sometimes using Woody's beak to do so. When Woody needs to jump, the game shows in advance where he will land, helping players aim more accurately. The game also features combat against Buzz Buzzard's henchmen, whom Woody can defeat using his beak or special moves. In addition to playing as Woody Woodpecker, players can also take control of Knothead or Splinter once Woody reunites with them.
