Summary
For the third consecutive World Cup, US Gold secured the rights to develop the official game. They handed the project to Tiertex, who created a top-down simulation of the entire tournament. In addition to the 24 qualified teams, notable football nations such as England, France, and Denmark could also be selected. The menu interface is primarily icon-driven, with the official mascot taking center stage. Tackling is challenging while passing is straightforward, resulting in a smooth and continuous style of gameplay.
