Summary
X-Men: Destiny is an action role-playing video game inspired by the X-Men comic book series. It was created by Silicon Knights and written by Mike Carey, the author behind the X-Men: Legacy comic book line. Activision published and launched the game for the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii platforms. Like several other Marvel-licensed titles released by Activision, X-Men: Destiny was delisted and taken off all digital marketplaces on January 1, 2014. The game, along with Too Human, was pulled from shelves, and remaining stock was destroyed due to legal disputes between Silicon Knights and Epic Games regarding the use of Unreal Engine 3 in the titles.
