Summary

Ten years ago, Essi's mother perished in a suspicious incident. She left behind a USB flash drive containing a secured folder labeled "X-Note." Confused by its significance, Essi went on with her life as an ordinary junior high student. But Essi is far from ordinary—she wields abilities that surpass those of any normal person. Her peaceful routine is disrupted when a young man named Yuon suddenly appears and invites her to look into a murder and a puzzling disappearance at Xen Institute, a school closely tied to her mother's past. Drawn by the chance to unlock "X-Note" and uncover the truth behind her mother's death, Essi agrees to help. But what lies ahead is far more complex and dangerous than she could ever have imagined…
