Yakuza 3 Remastered is an enhanced edition of Yakuza 3, created by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and released by Sega. It was launched in 2019 as part of The Yakuza Remastered Collection, offering upgraded visuals, a smoother frame rate, and content that was omitted in the original Western version. In the game, main character Kazuma Kiryu runs an orphanage in Okinawa but is pulled back into yakuza-related turmoil.
The Yakuza conflict is now reaching the sun-soaked shores of Okinawa. After departing from his former hideout in Kamimuro Chou, Kazuma Kiryuu heads to Okinawa, where he and Haruka establish a home for orphans called Asagao. With the children they’ve taken in, the two begin to move past the violent pasts that once defined them. But their peaceful days are soon interrupted, as the Yakuza’s deep ties to the Japanese government come into play. A corrupt land deal involving the site of Asagao forces Kiryuu and Haruka to return to their roots, clashing with rival Yakuza factions. As battles and political schemes intertwine, rise as the unstoppable force and defend the haven you’ve created.
