Summary
Yakuza 4 is the fourth installment in Sega's crime drama series, called *Ryu ga Gotoku* in Japan. It marks the first time in the series that the story is told from the perspectives of four distinct main characters.
Storyline
Yakuza 4 continues the narrative of Yakuza 3 a year later, returning the player to Tokyo. The game begins with a man being fatally shot in the Tojo Clan's domain, the organization central to every game in the series so far. A minor Tojo-affiliated gang attempts to uncover the truth behind the murder, but their leader is soon found dead from a stabbing. These incidents spark a fierce conflict among four men vying for wealth, power, prestige, and respect. As secrets, deceptions, and intertwined pasts come to light, the unyielding clash between these four men gives rise to a new chapter in the legend of Kamurocho.
