Storyline

In Yakuza 6, Kazuma Kiryu will come to understand the true extent of what people are ready to give up for family—whether those connections are by blood or by choice—as he delves into a string of mysterious incidents involving those he cherishes most. Recently released from a three-year prison term, a more mature and worn Kiryu learns that Haruka, the daughter he raised at the orphanage he runs, has vanished. His search takes him back to Kamurocho, his old haunt, where he uncovers the shocking truth: Haruka was hit by a car and is now in a coma. To add to his burden, Kiryu discovers that Haruka has a child, now left in his care. Holding the baby close, Kiryu makes his way to the coastal town of Onomichi in Hiroshima to uncover the truth behind Haruka, her son, and a dark secret hidden by the local yakuza.
