Summary

Yomawari is a Japanese horror action game in which a young girl sets out to find her missing older sister and beloved dog, navigating a sinister town under the cover of darkness. Armed only with a flashlight, she discovers that using it reveals terrifying sights that are meant to remain hidden.

Storyline

As the sun sets, a young girl takes her dog Poro for a walk around town when a terrible accident leaves her holding only Poro’s leash and no sign of the dog. Her sister orders her to remain inside while she ventures into the night to look for Poro. As time goes by and no one returns, the girl grows anxious and decides to go out on her own to find her sister and dog. But the moment she steps outside, she realizes the town has changed. The night has transformed it into something strange and unrecognizable, and she seems completely alone—except for the spirits that pursue her. The girl must evade, trick, or run from these hunting spirits as she searches for clues to reunite with her family.
