Yoshi vs. Windows is a fan-made game featuring Yoshi, developed by Supertoad2k. In this title, you take on the role of Yoshi stuck inside a computer, tasked with stopping Bill Gates from dominating the world. It is one of the earlier MFGG fan-games and potentially the first truly original submission to the MFGG community. Like most fan-games of that era, it's a side-scrolling platformer. At the time of its release, Yoshi vs. Windows gained notoriety for being an unprotected fan-game. This led to many of its assets being reused by others, especially when The Games Factory was the popular game creation tool. Later, a "Platinum" edition was released by Supertoad2k and Nite Shadow, featuring enhanced visuals, a save function, and, importantly, protection against unauthorized use. The original version is now officially open-source, though the modern game development scene has moved beyond TGF, making it largely outdated.
