Knitting, patchwork, and other handcrafted elements form a charming and imaginative setting for our yarn-loving Yoshi to traverse. This time, instead of eggs, Yoshi hurls yarn balls to clear obstacles, snare foes, or even stitch together platforms and warp pipes. Yoshi can also tug loose strands of yarn to dismantle walls and uncover secret spots brimming with collectibles. Team up with a friend in local 2-Player co-op to conquer challenges together. Gobble up and spit out enemies to scale new heights or defeat crafty critters like paratroopas, piranha plants, and shy guys! It's time to unleash your creativity.

Storyline

The game's narrative takes place on Craft Island, a tranquil haven for the Yoshis. One day, Kamek transforms nearly all the Yoshis into Wonder Wools at the request of Baby Bowser, who wants to gather the yarn to build a castle in his honor. When two Yoshis spot Kamek accidentally leaving behind Wonder Wools near Craft Island, they embark on a journey to gather them all, hoping to restore their friends to normal. After Baby Bowser is vanquished at his new castle, Kamek uses the last of the Wonder Wools to enhance Baby Bowser's strength. Nevertheless, Baby Bowser is defeated once more, and all the remaining Yoshis are returned to their original forms. The Yoshis return to Craft Island, while Baby Bowser retreats to reflect on his actions.
