Summary
After an 8-year absence, Ys is back with a fresh new adventure! Adol wakes up shipwrecked and marooned on a cursed island. There, he joins forces with the other survivors he saves to build a village and confront terrifying creatures and enigmatic ruins scattered across the remote island.
Storyline
Adol Christin is aboard the passenger ship Lombardia, traveling from Xandria to the continent of Eresia. He and Dogi joined the crew in exchange for their passage. The ship's captain, Captain Barbaros, shares the legend of the cursed Isle of Seiren, a place where vessels have mysteriously disappeared. But before the journey can continue, the ship is attacked by a massive sea monster, tossing Adol and the passengers into the ocean as the vessel is pulled beneath the waves. Adol awakens on the shore of the Isle of Seiren, a wild and ancient land filled with creatures found nowhere else. He soon encounters others who also survived the wreck, and together they form a settlement called Castaway Village to search for more survivors and protect themselves from the island's dangerous beasts. Not long after, Adol begins having strange dreams of a mysterious young woman with flowing blue hair, from a world he has never known.
