Storyline
In 1918 England, a quiet village is gripped by a wave of kidnappings and grave robberies, as heavily armed zombies begin to appear. With the situation too perilous for the police to manage, private detective Edward Windsor takes up the case. After a violent shootout in the village cemetery, Edward saves a man named Charles, and together they set out to infiltrate a nearby castle believed to be the source of the zombie outbreak. The two become separated upon entering the castle, with Edward falling into a deep underground dungeon and fighting his way to freedom. Just as Edward and Charles reunite, Charles is shot dead, but the infection he has contracted transforms him into a monstrous creature, forcing Edward to battle him to survive. Edward makes his way through the castle's laboratory, only to discover Charles—now in a terrifying new form—waiting for him at the exit, ready for another deadly confrontation.
