Inspired by the acclaimed PlayStation 2 game, *Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars* is a 2-D, turn-based strategy title where players command a diverse military force including trucks, tanks, fighters, and massive anime-style robots known as LEVs, as they join the Mars underground resistance in their fight for freedom. Strategic decision-making is key, as players navigate expansive battlefields, plan their moves, and engage enemy forces with careful thought. As you gain experience in battle, your strength will grow, allowing you to enhance and customize your units for greater effectiveness.

Storyline

The narrative takes place in the Zone of the Enders universe in the year 2173, when humanity, driven by the pursuit of a precious substance known as Metatron, has extended its presence to Mars and the moons of Jupiter, establishing full-scale colonies. However, Earth maintains strict control over the colonists, who are often referred to with the contemptuous label "Enders," and face widespread prejudice. Resources are scarce, movement is restricted, and numerous uprisings on Mars have failed to challenge Earth's dominance. The game centers on Cage Midwell, a 17-year-old youth working aboard the interplanetary liner "Bonaparte III" alongside his close friend and role model, Ares Enduwa. During a standard voyage, Cage notices a woman sneaking into the cargo area and decides to follow her. As he does, the ship is suddenly attacked by a formidable black Orbital Frame. Cage and the woman, who identifies herself as Myona Alderan, take refuge in a hidden LEV stored on the ship and manage to escape, only to crash-land on Mars. They are soon captured and blamed for the incident. To make matters worse, Myona has no memory of who she is. However, not long after their arrest, they are rescued by Deckson Geyse, a leader of the "Anti-Terrestrial League." His group, BIS (Born In Space), frees them, and Cage is thrust into the growing conflict between Earth and Mars.
