Summary
All-Star Baseball 2002 includes the full 2001–2002 MLBPA player list. You can play as one of today’s teams or travel back in time to take control of legends like Nolan Ryan or Reggie Jackson. You also have the option to design your own player and/or team. The game features several modes, including Quick Play, Exhibition, All-Star Game, Season, Series, Home Run Derby, and Batting Practice. Batting is controlled via a cursor, and you can choose between a power swing or a contact swing—contact swings offer even more choices, such as aiming for the opposite field. Pitching works similarly, as you select your pitching style (each player can have up to six different ones) and then pick your target location.
